Foothills Market: The Market is Open!
This week on Foothills Market, let’s talk roast! When I was a kid, “roast” meant one thing – beef roast cooked in the oven with potatoes and carrots. Very delicious, but now that I’m older I’ve learned roast can be a lot more versatile. Cut it into chunks and make goulash; shred it and make burritos; slice it and make sandwiches; cube it and layer it with vegetables to make kebabs.
If you want to try something different, we’ve got you covered for roasts on the market. We have several types of beef roasts, from chuck to rump, as well as pork roast and leg of lamb.
Check out the listings between now and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Whether you want meat, vegetables or baked goods, we’ll have your items ready for Thursday pickup.
Eat something fresh this week!
